- Recording a digital file onto a VHS cassette: 38€
- File(s) on USB key: +€16 for the order; or online for 1 week: +€7 for the order
Garantie
- Free repair for up to 3 of your damaged tapes for an order of more than 7 tapes.
- Correction and stabilization of the image and sound to remove the artifacts due to tape aging.
- Color, sound, and contrast correction if necessary.
- Conversion to the standard mp4 format, enjoy your videos on PC, Mac, smartphone.
- If you receive a file that you can’t play, I’ll redo the digitization for free (Please let me know within a week after receiving it, after this period, the files will be deleted).
- If the content of the tape exceeds 3 hours and 45 minutes, the price doubles.
Process
- Tapes delivered by hand or by parcel post.
- Pick-up in Brussels: 14 euros or Free! for orders of 3 or more cassettes.
- Image stabilization.
- Correction to remove the sound and video noise from damaged tapes if necessary.
- Color, sound, and contrast correction if necessary.
- Acquisition.
- Conversion to mp4 format and titling.
- Secure postal delivery (free for an order of more than 9 tapes) or hand delivery (free travel in Brussels).
Expertise
- I have been working in video and digital communication for over 15 years. During this time, a part of my work has involved using archival footage to give them a new life.
- Processing these old medias, editing and color grading them, is essential to make the most out of these archives. It’s natural for me to provide this service directly to individuals, as well as through outsourcing.
By hand or by post
- We can arrange a meeting for you to drop off the tapes; I am located 5 minutes from the city center.
- I offer free pickup to Brussels and its nearby suburbs.
- Postal delivery is possible, and return is free for more than 9 tapes. Don’t forget the tracking number!
